Adventure Time top view by ginas-cakes Adventure Time top view by ginas-cakes
This is the top view of the finished cake that :iconmechanical2127: designed for a competition run by :icondeliciousdafood: on my behalf.
The competition was to design an Adventure Time cake for my daughters Birthday which was on the 15th. It was a hard choice, but was decided that thiswas the winning one.
I thank all that entered, and could imagine all of them in cake form...:aww:

Hi I would love to make this for my great nephew I that's ok with you. He really loves adventure time. If I'm allowed could you tell me what size cakes you made it with please.
Here's hoping! Kay
Ps I can assure you mine won't look anyway as brilliant as yours but would love to give it a bash.

Hi Kay,

....and yes, that's perfectly fine....thanks for asking :)

I used a 6, 7 and 9 inch sponge tin I think. The smallest I had was a 6 inch or I probably would have used that as it cake

out quite big.

I don't know if you saw them, but I have stage photo's if it helps?

Thank you very much he will love it. And thanks for tin sizes. I have seen your stage by stage pics, the thing that worries me now is that first covering of sugar paste, looks like it could be tricky to get a perfect finish! Thanks again. Kay

Yes....the first covering is tricky. I tried to match the edges up on the side so it wouldn't show too much.

Good luck....let me know how it goes :)

Was this airbrushed or did you just meld the layers/strips of blue fondant/sugar paste together?? This cake is awesome!
