This is the biggest, squarest most mathmatical cake I have ever made. It would have been alot better if we hadn't had a mini heat-wave that week, but I'm used to getting thrown a challenge...upon a challenge!

It felt like I spent more time measuring, and drawing out every door and compartment, but me being me, wanted to add as much detail as I could in the time I had. Due to the heat, I spent alot of time correcting areas and re-rolling icing I'd measured up....that decided not to fit, but in the end I got there....:aww:

The whole cake I think ended up measuring 20-23 inches long....I can't remember exactly, but it was big!

If you would like to use this image for anything at all,
would you please let me know before you do so.....Thankyou..
:aww:

Looks almost like the truck from Universal Soldier (the first one, and still the best!)

I only made the connection because I had an 80s movie week a couple of months ago and that was on the watch list ;)

Yea....having 80's movie nights can be a good thing....or sometimes not depending on how you remembered it the first time round
We just watched the original Judge Dredd after watching the new one. I think you need to get in the 'zone' to fully appreciate how good it was watching it for the first time...

Not one for me I'm afraid, I thought it was complete trash so I haven't even bothered with the remake. No doubt there'll be another remake in a year or so, which seems to be the norm atm, and I think I'll give that one a miss too :)

......well, back in the day, I didn't have much choice on what the folks watched, but anything was better than all-day cricket :D

I didn't mind the new one. These days with how busy things are, I'm just happy to sit down and chill out :)

Ah yes. Fortunately I was just old enough by then to have my own TV & video, so I managed to avoid the made for tv movie fests and soaps :D

Oh I wish to be busy... not so lucky on that front atm. Soon though, my confidence is high :)
