his mouth is supported by a bit of soft plastic......I think I cut a shape out of one of my tupperwear box lids....and placed icing over it after.

.....getting any cake to look like an actual character is a big challenge. Food colouring goes a shade
darker when it's left for a while.
Poor Kermits leg snapped as they were so thin and fragile, so I stuck it together with icing, and hid it with a balloon...
...Kermit was a bit of a task, but was well recieved...and tasty I was told!
