I hope you love them.  A little bit of Australian culture for you.  They used to be *the* fund raising item.  Woman would gather together with purchased sponge slabs and set up an assembly line to cut the slabs into squares, chocolate sauce coat them, and then roll them into coconut.  They always sell well.  These days everyone just orders a massive pack from a bakery and on-sells them, it's such a shame.
