Little Monsters stages by ginas-cakes Little Monsters stages by ginas-cakes
These are the last pictures I have on any stages of cakes I have made up till now.
I think in the book I made them from there were about 10 or so, but the party I made this for was for 30.
As a little extra touch for all those little monsters, I made a cage for them with tinfoil covered straws!

These are absolutely adorable. What a great way to make individual "pieces" of cake and have each and everyone special.

Thankyou...althought I can't take the credit for the idea as it's from a Debbie Brown book, but can for the amount......I think I made 5 more than the book said, and trying to stack them was interesting...:)

My 7yr old son was with me when I was looking at them and said that they were "wicked". High praise indeed! :)

It's a traditional victoria sponge mix. It's quite fluffy and hard to carve, but tastes lovely :)

...pan? do you mean what tin I used?
If so, it was a rectangular roasting tin. It was the biggest thing I had at home :)

I've not made angel food cake....
I chose the pan just because of it's shape, and needing to get all those little monsters from it!

those are genius!
though I feel like the cake inside should be mad colours too, though not the same as their outsides...

:) That would be great wouldn't it!
Problem would be having to bake lots of different colour sponges rather than one big 11 inch one
To be honest, I'd never even seen sponges coloured so deep until I joined DA.....they are pretty cool. :)
