Yes, she has some lovely designs ^^ I don't get to try them out as often these days with people's requests but they were a great help when choosing and making my kids cakes
..and thankyou It helped that I knew it was going to be covered in lots of strands as carving a ball shape was a bit annoying! I thought of getting one of those bowl tins to cook it in, but didn't know if I'd be using it much in the future.
i tried to make it look like my Niece's kitten, so glad i have food coloring pens lol. it was also the first cake i ever decorated so i'm quite proud of it i recently got a book by Lindy smith for my birthday so i'm going to try a few of those.
Your very welcome.. ....and I've never been on a course or anything and think books are a brilliant way to learn. Most of the timethough, it is more learning what can go wrong by yourself, but if you can overcome and correct it, that's more than half the battle.....
that is exactly how i learn, i did another cake for my partner for his birthday without a book or anything, i thought it was awful, but he liked it and now i know how to do it better in the future so i guess it was a success lol. would it be ok to ask you for any advice on cakes i do in the future?
