My daughter spotted this little creature who was resting on a plant. We think it hurt it's tail as it didn't fly away...

:) It's a damselfly, these ones usualy live nearby a creak with moving water. I think it got hurt mating (it's when they use their tail to grab a female, if I recall right the female is greenish) It's a beautiful shot!
