Spyro 3D Cake

This was a bit of a challenge from beginning to end. I couldn't find the right reference pictures...my sponge was too soft...and well, just problem after problem. Still........ after a week of being tested, here is the end result of my daughter Birthday cake.

Sculpted chocolate sponge Spyro with edible bits. Wings supported by wire set in the fondant. Pillars are bought swiss rolls covered in fondant pebble effect. Fairy and Sparks supported by wire. I had to make Sparks wings out of paper as I thought he would snap with my run of luck!..
