I will never do him again either....right at the last moment, an hour before delivery, Thomas' face cracked and thank goodness my Husband took it in hand and repaired an extra one I had made as a prototype.....all's well that ends' well I suppose but never again.
I have so many rejects!!!....the trouble is my teacher is an award winning flower maker....she makes the most perfect flowers...she has about 30 years advance on me. She is wonderful and patient but the penny hasn't quite dropped for me yet....I'll keep persisting though.
That's the spirit!....you'll get there in the end, and all of a sudden, you'll have a perfect flower! I'm looking forward to that time myself ..... how does she do hers? I use a tip from one of my books to use clingfilm and press balls of fondant.
